Each year in October, the Florida Attractions Foundation Golf Tournament raises money to support thousands of dollars in scholarships given out every year to rising hospitality superstars working to complete school. FAA members meet in a central location and form teams, with fun prizes and great opportunities to network with industry colleagues.
Hosted every year by the Partnership for Florida's Tourism, this annual event invites tourism and industry leaders from across the state to educate the legislature and the public about the importance of tourism in Florida. FAA members turn out every year to discuss the issues that matter most to their businesses and to the tourism industry.
Each year in February, FAA board members and staff take a five-day road trip across the Sunshine State to learn about regional trends and receive feedback on how to best serve our members. Each day begins with an open discussion among attendees to share how their attractions have fared over the past year, and what they anticipate in the coming months. The event also includes an update on FAA benefits and services as well a key legislative updates from the state capitol.
Held during the annual IAAPA Attractions Expo in November, the IAAPA Networking Breakfast brings FAA members and those interested in membership together in Orlando. This event allows attendees to network, to discuss the latest in the hospitality and tourism industries, and to share the incredible benefits available to FAA members.
