Welcome to Your 2024 Scholarship Program

An Exclusive Benefit to Employees and Dependents of Employees of Attraction, Associate and DMO FAA Members

The Florida Attractions Association (FAA) and its Board of Directors announced the creation of the Florida Attractions Foundation in 2012 as a way to provide financial assistance to post-secondary students studying in hospitality-related fields in an effort to help secure the future of the tourism workforce in Florida's #1 industry. 

Now called the Florida Attractions Scholarship Foundation (FASF), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, FASF and its Board of Directors are proud to award several $2,000 scholarships* in 2024 for students pursuing degrees in a hospitality-related field and who are employees of an FAA member business or are the dependent of an employee of an FAA member business.

*The selected applicants will receive $2,000 to apply to their education-related expenses and an invitation to attend a Florida Attractions Association Annual Conference. 

To Date, the FASF has awarded $79,950 to 83 Recipients

How to Apply
Accepting Applications during the month of February 2024! 

Check Your Eligibility

For consideration, applicants must be:

  • An employee, immediate family member of an employee, volunteer, or intern of a Florida Attractions Association member business.

  • A Florida resident, member of the US military, or a dependent of a member of the US military.

  • Entering or enrolled as a Full-time student in a hospitality-related major in an accredited post-secondary institution or enrolled in a vocational training course from a certified institution in Florida with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Ready to apply? Before beginning the online application please review the 2024 Scholarship Application Worksheet and prepare the two documents below for upload at the end of the online application:

  1. A resume outlining your academic achievements, internships, employment and community service.

  2. A letter of reference from a professor, employer, volunteer coordinator, or mentor attesting to your work ethic, core values, service involvement, leadership abilities, any other personal qualities.
