Small Groups. Big Ideas. Stronger Connections
We’re excited to introduce Peer Pods, an innovative new FAA member forum designed to connect Florida attractions professionals in small, focused discussion groups that inspire collaboration and idea sharing.
Each Peer Pod will be a videoconference format hosted by members of the FAA Board of Directors and will provide a welcoming, conversational environment where participants can share insights, discuss challenges, exchange best practices, and build meaningful professional relationships. These sessions are intentionally small to encourage open dialogue and ensure every voice is heard.
This is a planned series of Peer Pods, with each installment spotlighting a different facet of attraction leadership—from guest experience and operations to marketing, sustainability, and team development. Whether you’re seeking fresh perspectives, practical solutions, or stronger industry connections, Peer Pods are a valuable new way to learn, network, and grow alongside your peers in Florida’s dynamic attractions industry.

Attraction Marketing, Advertising & Partnerships
In a crowded tourism marketplace, smart marketing and strong partnerships are essential to standing out. This Peer Pod will bring together attraction professionals to share ideas, strategies, and lessons learned in advertising, promotional campaigns, and collaborative partnerships. From digital platforms and social media trends to community partnerships and cross-promotions, participants will explore creative approaches to reach new audiences, optimize advertising dollars, and strengthen brand presence. Gain fresh insights and practical takeaways from your peers.
The Peer Pod will be facilitated by Cameron O’Connell (ZooTampa) and John Penney (BlackDog Advertising).
To ensure an engaging and productive discussion, participation will be limited.
