DMO Associates

DMO Associates are destination marketing organizations (DMOs), convention & visitor bureaus (CVBs), tourism development councils (TDCs), chambers of commerce (COCs), or other similar organizations. These groups actively market their areas as destinations to the traveling public, and often partner with attractions in their area.

Definition

A DMO Associate is any business or organization which is primarily engaged in marketing a specific Florida destination to the traveling public. DMOs include, but are not limited to, convention & visitors bureaus (CVBs), tourist development councils (TDCs), and chambers of commerce (COCs). A DMO Associate is a non-profit organization or government entity. (Note: Businesses which qualify for any attraction category of membership are not eligible for Associate membership).
