Research from Gallup shows that followers consistently look to leaders for four essential needs: Trust, Compassion, Stability, and Hope. In the attraction industry, where leaders balance operational demands, evolving guest expectations, and diverse teams, meeting these needs can make the difference between a team that simply functions and one that thrives.
Peer Pods bring together small groups of attraction professionals in similar roles for candid virtual conversations focused on real-world challenges. These interactive “roundtables” create space to share experiences, learn from peers, and gain practical insights that strengthen both individual leadership and our industry.
Leadership Peer Pod
This session will explore how leaders can create environments where team members feel confident, supported, and inspired. Together, participants will discuss practical strategies for:
- Building trust through authentic communication and consistency
- Demonstrating compassion while supporting diverse employee needs
- Providing stability in fast-paced, constantly changing environments
- Creating hope by helping employees see opportunities, purpose, and a positive future
Through facilitated discussion and peer-to-peer learning, participants will share challenges, exchange ideas, and explore approaches that help leaders strengthen culture, improve engagement, and achieve results.
The discussion will be facilitated by Kristen Stalker, General Manager, EPCOT Park Operations (Walt Disney World), and Dan Donovan, Sr. Director, Organizational Enablement & Transformation, Universal Destinations & Experiences (Universal Orlando Resort). Drawing from leadership experiences in two of Central Florida’s most complex attraction environments, they will guide participants through an engaging conversation focused on practical leadership lessons and shared learning.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and grow alongside your fellow leaders.
