00:20:15 Bill Lupfer: Feel free to add your questions using the chat feature. 00:20:30 rcain: Is Jennifer hiding in a cabin in the mountains? 00:23:47 jenniferjgreen: I’m social distancing at our house in North Georgia! 00:30:33 jenniferjgreen: Are many of you having similar “strike teams” visiting your facilities? 00:30:59 marys: "strike team"? 00:32:13 Cathy Guerra: By strike team, they mean task force for compliance. 00:32:52 jberthiau: Health department has been making rounds in Palm Beach County 00:33:58 Elizabeth Rizzuto: Yes. We have had county inspectors visiting every other day. No issues at all. They walk in and out in 20 minutes. 00:34:26 marys: County/city enforcement has not been strong in the Keys. No strike forces here. 00:35:04 rcain: We have not seen any enforcement at the lighthouse yet 00:37:25 jberthiau: Awesome job on that Gatorland! 00:37:39 qwashington: That's awesome!! 00:37:51 Diana Vega: Enforcement not strong in Dade County for attractions. 00:38:19 Jennifer Gallagher: We are so very fortunate! PS - Big Girls Don't Cry 00:39:20 rcain: Great to see you Mark!! 00:40:35 Sandra Edwards: Great job mark! 00:46:01 markmchugh: I'd like to know from Scott how many guests have the had to turn away because they detected high temperatures with their cameras? 00:46:29 qwashington: That's a great question. 00:47:24 Cathy Guerra: Great series "Secrets of the Zoo: Tampa" on Nat Geo Wild! 00:50:32 markmchugh: Thank you. That's a very small percentage of folks trying to enter facilities with a temperature. Great to hear. 00:50:57 Cindy: Has anyone had any staff test positive for Covid and if so what is your policy once you know? 00:51:40 Matt Thibos: yeah, we had one. sent him home until he could provide a negative test. Took several weeks with the free one 00:51:56 rcain: No 00:52:03 Matt Thibos: paid testing is taking about 2-3 days down here 00:52:32 marys: We haven't had any positive cases. County mandate is that if we get a staff member who tests positive, we have to close for, I believe three days. We've had staff who might have been exposed elsewhere and they quarantine at home, get tested, etc. 00:52:38 Cathy Guerra: I believe Miami-Dade County requires 2 consecutive negative tests before returnig to work. 00:55:53 Diana Vega: Yes. If employee tested positive they must stay home for the next 14 days. On the 11th day HR contacts them to take two COVID tests within 24 hours that must be negative. After that, if both test result negative (which can take a week to get the results) they must see a County physician. Staff can be out for about a month, or long er, with this whole process. 00:58:20 Christina Schwartzman: Mary any word on if they are going to repeal the cruise ship business in Key West, I heard they were going to vote on it. 01:11:51 marys: I forgot to mention to everyone that at the request of our Board of County Commssioners, our TDC has paused all destination advertising. They retooled other ads to promote mask wearing, social distancing, etc. for people who come. All messages over beautiful images. 01:13:17 marys: I'm so sorry to have to leave. I miss you all and look forward to listening to the rest of the speakers on the recording. 01:13:30 Matt: Thanks Mary! 01:14:35 rcain: We set up a private facebook group for our staff and it is being used as a let-down site more than we thought it would. 01:14:53 qwashington: That's great what you are doing for the staff. It's very important. 01:15:17 Jess Munroe: Love the comfort dog idea! Thank you for the staff morale note - definitely very important right now. 01:17:26 Katie.Kapczynski: Morale has been low with our staff (in Miami), lots of fear working with the public. Previous VS staff are very content, but our museum educators and program facilitators had to shift to more of a VS role and are pretty unhappy. Mask enforcement is tough for them too... has led to some escalated visitor interactions. 01:24:05 jberthiau: Comfort Dogs: National Crisis Response Canines 01:31:53 Catherine Toruno: That was so helpful, thank you! 01:32:04 Sandra Edwards: great job! 01:32:14 Katie.Kapczynski: All the fun. Ha! 01:32:18 Elizabeth Rizzuto: Thank You! 01:32:30 qwashington: Thank you!!! Very helpful!!! 01:43:34 Matt Thibos: Pro Tip from Miami Dade County - don't be in the same category as 'strip clubs and unlicensed message parlors' 01:44:11 Katie.Kapczynski: lol 01:45:33 Sandra Edwards: Very good Diana, hope to see you soon! 01:45:33 Katie.Kapczynski: Thanks Diana. Very helpful! 01:45:42 Catherine Toruno: Agreed! Thank you 01:45:53 Cathy Guerra: Great job Diana...well said! 01:46:28 Sandra Edwards: Very good Diana, hope to see you soon! 01:47:18 Diana Vega: Thank you for allowing me to present. Hope I represented the attractions in Dade County well. 01:47:19 Christina Schwartzman: Matt do you staff have concerns with customers approaching them without a mask on? 01:53:29 Cathy Guerra: Miami-Dade Parks, and Deering Estate's outdoor areas are open. It's importnat to highlight the health benefits of being outdoors and to encourage physical activity to support community wellbeing during the pandemic. Of course while following our county's safety guidelines (face coverings, social distancing & no groups of more than 10). 01:53:48 Matt Thibos: How's attendance Cathy? 01:54:08 BBesio: Check with you County Health Dept. Our says that a person can come back 10 days after a positive test if they have been symptom free for the last three days. No need for a retest. 01:55:24 sandysweatt: Great Information! 01:55:27 Jess Munroe: Thank you all! Great to hear from you, very informative. 01:55:41 markmchugh: Great job, everyone. FAA was instrumental in our opening in May. Thank you, folks. 01:55:42 Catherine Toruno: Thank you all! 01:55:59 eric.eimstad: Thank you all!
