Social Media Resources

You can get more people involved in the conversation if you tag the legislator who is visiting and the FAA in all your social media posts.  Here’s a handy list for the official accounts of Florida Lawmakers.

You can tag FAA at:

Facebook: @FloridaAttractions
Twitter: @FLattractions

Also tag other FAA members who may be relevant to or participating in the visit.  The more, the merrier!

Hashtags are a great way to get your contact discovered and shared by others interested in the same topics.  The official hashtag is #FAADistrictDays, but you can also use topic-related hashtags for your attraction, the subject matter of the photo or post, and your area.  Don’t forget to use #LoveFL too!

If you can’t think of what to say, feel free to borrow from us!  Some good generic posts might sound like…

  1. We’re so happy to have [LEGISLATOR’S OFFICIAL ACCOUNT TAG] visiting with us for #FAADistrictDays!  Tourism is the life blood of Florida!  Knowing how their local attractions work and what they offer is one way our legislators show how much the #LoveFL!

  2. Today, [LEGISLATOR’S OFFICIAL ACCOUNT TAG] visited us to see how the attractions in their district affect the local economy and make Florida tourism a vital part of the state’s economy! #FAADistrictDays #LoveFL

  3. The [FAA ACCOUNT TAG]’s “District Days” is all about getting our local lawmakers to visit the attractions in their area to see their impact on tourism and Florida’s economy.  As part of the #FAADistrictDays, [LEGISLATOR’S OFFICIAL ACCOUNT TAG] visited us today to get a good look behind the scenes. #LoveFL
