Make a Contribution Today

Now that the primary election is behind us, there are numerous seats in the Florida House and Senate being contested and we must ensure that candidates with strong pro-tourism, pro-business values are elected this November.

The Florida Attractions Association (FAA) has always made government advocacy a top priority. If we told you that your contribution could make the difference in those advocacy efforts – would you contribute?

The Florida Attractions Political Action Committee (FAPAC) is a non-partisan group organized and governed by a Board of Directors and made up of members of the FAA. The FAPAC completes necessary due diligence by researching district demographics and candidate positions relating to tourism issues including, but not limited to VISIT FLORIDA funding, restricting the use of tourist development tax dollars to tourism promotion, opposing the expansion of casinos, and investment in our state’s infrastructure.

In order for the FAPAC to make a difference, we must be able to make meaningful contributions to candidates running for the Florida House and Senate. To do this, we need your help! Your business and/or personal contribution and those of other leaders at attractions throughout our state will demonstrate that our industry is unified and strong. Please join the following members who have already contributed this year:

Colonial Quarter

Dinosaur World

Jungle Queen Riverboat

Kenney Communications

Universal Orlando Resort

Walt Disney World

Bill Lupfer

Rick Soverns (Sawgrass Recreation Park)

Please make your voluntary contribution to the FAPAC and then share the following contribution form with individuals in your organization that would like to help make a difference in our industry.

If you have any questions about our advocacy initiatives or would like to suggest a candidate for the FAPAC to support, please contact us at your convenience. Thank you for your generous support!

Please note: “Person” means an individual or corporation, association, firm, partnership, joint venture, joint stock company, club, organization, estate, trust, business trust, syndicate, or other combination of individuals having collective capacity. 501(c)(3) organizations and government-owned entities may not contribute to the FAPAC. However, an individual employed by a 501(c)(3) or government-owned entity may make a personal contribution to the FAPAC.
